Rekindled love of Graphic Design
Here are a few pictures that I’ve quickly bashed up with Photoshop during my time at college. I used to absolutely love faffing around with Photoshop to make my own backgrounds, Myspace layouts (back in the day), website banners and buttons and forum Sigs.
These is the result of my procrastinations:
This is just a quick wallpaper that I bashed up from scratch. Though it would make a...

Programming: 10% Ingenuity, 20% Science, 70%...
Well I’ve somehow managed to get enough work done to be able to bash out a quick blog. It’s going to be short and sweet today.
I’m doing VB programming at college. Now I know there are some of you out there that will say, “OMFGZZZ THATZ S0 E4ZY!”. Yeah well, congratulations for you. I have such an inability to be able to grasp programming in any form. I can just...

Being a Jobsworth for jobsworths sake.
I’ve been awake for a grand total of 2 hours, and already I’ve managed to be infuriated by life. Nexus, bus drivers, cash machines, disruptive arseholes in my college class.
Bus pass out of date. Fair enough. But the Nexus Travelshop in the city is, for some unknown reason (I say unknown, but I know damn well why) is closed on the morning of the 4th Friday rotation. The only reason I...

Domodedovo Blast
In my blog yesterday, I claimed that only
31 people died in the suicide attack at the arrivals area at Domodedovo airport on Monday, with no British fatalities. This was before I learned today that there was in fact a final count of 35 dead, two of which British Citizens - One a Russian businessman working in London, and the other was due to be married and was father to a 6 month old...

The Downing Street Rats
No, this isn’t the name of a new satirical punk band that all the youngsters are listening to. And no, you’re wrong again - it isn’t a metaphor relating to the current British government. Not in this this context anyway.
It appears that in actual fact, Downing Street has a rodent problem (again not relating to the men and women running the country) being with a family of rats...

"As crisp as a bag of crisps"
This weekend saw the long awaited return of the season of Top Gear, so obviously, as an avid Top Gear fan-boy, I just had to write about it today. Season 16? Something like that. The only things that have been around longer are the Porsche 911, The Queen, The Great White Shark and Thatcher (annoyingly).
I love this show so much, I actually didn’t go on any form of social network. AT ALL....

For those of my readers that read this and are attendees of South Tyneside College you may have noticed that last summer the Martec had it’s name changed to the 1861 Club and was also apparently ‘refurbished’ at the expense of £20,000. Now I have spent considerable time in there whilst my fellow classmate quenches his gambling thirst on the bandit and quiz machine; so I am quite...

So I saw this on Tumblr and decided it would be something good to turn into a blog - because today, I am, in fact, a little short of ideas.
Anyway, to the point. Was reading a post about the different personalities of people depending on the month that they were born. I would have to say, that upon taking up the task of reading it (and believe me, it is a mammoth task as I don’t normally...

Last week, a few of us experienced problems accessing Facebook from our mobiles. I know for one, it caused me great pain, as I’m sure it also caused many others great discomfort too.
I remember a conversation with a friend about it the day after where she admitted that the more that she was unable to log in to Facebook, the more determined it was making her to successfully get on. To which...

If it can't be beaten; assimilate.
Pending my appearance on RADIO1 about Video Game Piracy, I only feel that is appropriate for me to write about my opinions on the subject.
It’s wrong. No point in beating around that bush. It’s wrong because it’s stealing. People slave away for, in some cases, years developing and researching games, I don’t think some people quite appreciate the vast amounts of effort...

When life throws you a shit; throw it right back.
Got some bad news yesterday. My application for my first choice of university was unsuccessful. A lot of my closest friends attend this university and I’ve been there a lot, so I know the campus well.
The reason for my application falling through was because of the quality of my GCSE Maths grade, or lack there of. I think this is understandable, as I am pretty dismal at Mathematics -...
Such the week I've had, and it's only Wednesday.
I’ve been toying with the idea of actually starting to use my Tumblr account for a couple of days now; and I came to the conclusion, why not? I don’t really blog, but I would like to start.
Anyway, new to all this lark, but here I go.
Last Thursday I posted a reply to a Radio1 Newsbeat opinion request on Facebook about Game Piracy and it’s impact on the Game Industry.
